Seasonal Embodiment: Samhain
Seasonal Embodiment is a collaborative offering between myself and Nina Smock to invite you to mark the celestial calendar with resonance and intention. Every six(ish) weeks for the next solar year we will hold a 2 hour, in-depth practice to explore the energies of the season and what they are asking of us. We’ll explore the traditional celebrations and practices around the seasonal change and offer ways to embrace the cyclical nature of the natural world. Then, we’ll have a deeply nutritive restorative yoga practice and sound bath healing, allowing us to embody the qualities of that season. We’ll close with a tea ceremony featuring an organic and wild harvested herbal blend crafted to support ourselves in the specific season, as we take our learning and our intentions out into the world. (You’ll get to bring 1/2 oz. of the blend home with you as well to enjoy throughout the season!)
We will gather from 3:30-5:30pm on Sundays at The Yoga Studio, 306 W. Water Street, Decorah, IA.
Please know- spaces for this offering are very limited because we want to be able to engage in a deeply caring and personal way. If you feel a resonance with this class, RSVP at wellness@mikahmae.com to hold your spot.
Sliding Scale $40-$60

New Moon Restorative Yoga and Sound Bath
The New Moon is a potent time for dreaming, looking forward, and manifesting for the coming lunar cycle. From within the darkness, the stillness, and the quiet we are invited to turn inward and meet ourselves with presence. But living within our busy, modern lives we often find ourselves disconnected from the natural lunar rhythms.
Join Mikah Jaschke and Nina Smock for a dreamy 75 minute Restorative Yoga and Healing Sound Bath practice. On Friday, July 14th we will gather together from 6-7:15 pm with intention and offer an invitation for deep self care.

Restorative Yoga is a balm for our hearts, minds, and souls in a world filled with worries and busyness. In a restorative practice we move slowly, holding poses for several minutes, helping to shift our bodies into the parasympathetic nervous system- the rest, digest, restore, and renew part of our beings.
A restorative practice has the ability to change us at a profound and subtle level, quieting the mind and unraveling tension held deeply in the body. We will utilize a variety of props (all provided at the location) to fully support our bodies as we relax and unwind.

Full Moon Restorative Yoga and Sound Bath
The Full Moon is a potent time for reflection, gratitude, and connection. Bathed in the milky light we see ourselves in a generous light. We honor the completion of the lunar cycle and celebrate all we have done. But living within our busy, modern lives we often find ourselves disconnected from the natural lunar rhythms.
