I’m a Birth Doula, Post-Partum Doula, Reiki Master and Teacher, Yoga Teacher, and an Herbalist located in Decorah, Iowa.
I work with people one-on-one as they listen to their own inner knowing to create a life they love.
No matter where you are on your path, I’m here to support you and your journey towards a wildly holistic life!
What is a wildly holistic life?
It’s a life where you lean into your own inner knowing, where you listen to your intuition and honor your instinctual self. It’s a life where you cultivate what brings you joy and makes your heart sing. It’s a life that integrates every part of you into one shining whole, where you nourish every bit of yourself. It’s a life of being the truest, strongest, most vividly YOU that you can be.
It’s standing in the woods with countless paths before you and choosing the one your whole being longs for instead of the paved, well lit, flat one that bores you to tears. It’s choosing the winding, tree lined, stone strewn, wild and unknown path. Over, and over, and over. Because it’s the path that makes you feel alive. It’s the path that delights your senses and makes your heart feel full to bursting. It’s the path that, when you choose it, feels like coming home. Like choosing yourself.
It’s not easy, to choose yourself. There are countless voices, internal and external, that will try to call you back to the safe and easy path. Sometimes our new path will feel hard- too steep, too winding, too unknown. The temptation to turn back to the well worn path may start to overshadow your inner knowing. That’s where I come in, with a map and a lantern to help you see the path ahead! I’m there to help you find and choose yourself over and over again. And I bring a diverse basket of skills along with me to help. I’m an herbalist, a Reiki Master, a Yoga Teacher, and a Pre- and Post- Partum Doula.
No matter where you are on the path, I’m here to help. Maybe you could hear the whisperings of your heart for a while, but can’t anymore, and don’t know if you’ve lost your way. Maybe you’re about to be carrying a baby along the path with you, and you need a nice long rest in a lovely cabin while you integrate this new version of yourself in connection with this new little being. Maybe you’re standing on the edge of the woods, leaning so far forward your toes have to clench into the soil to keep you from tipping over, but you just can’t take that first step.
Just like every path is different, working with me will look different for everyone…
It might look like herbal support in the form of custom herbal blends, or learning from the plants. Maybe it will be one-on-one sessions where we dive deep into learning to let your intuition lead. Maybe it will be a deeply supportive doula care package so that you can welcome your new little one into the world with as much support as possible. Maybe it will be learning how to use Reiki for yourself and your family. How we work together will be determined by what your heart longs for, and what you need.
